Praise for THE SUPER SALMON, 2016:

"a swashbuckling spirit" - Geographical.co.uk

"[Patagonia] gave a grant...to a filmmaker who was making a film called ‘Supersalmon.' The film comes out, the guy shows it around, and the governor, just like that, he kills the dam. You don’t get many clear-cut victories like that. But sometimes all it takes is one person.”  - Yvon Chouinard, The New Yorker, 9/19/16

“It’s no easy task to make conservation entertaining. So we felt that this film deserved special mention. Led by two strong protagonists, one human and one fish, we explore the complexities of clean energy versus conservation and standing up for what’s right. Most importantly, it’s done in a humorous way, thereby engaging a wide audience in the issue." - 2016 Banff Mountain Film Festival Jury

"Director Ryan Peterson has created an environmentally-minded social-issue documentary that is whimsical and fun by injecting [it] with so much passion, personality, and humour that it’s hard not to feel the love bursting through it." - Short of the Week
